Am Gitter hält sie über eine in einer Nut sitzende Spannfeder und einen Drahthalter. Durch den Kugelverschluss im Röhrchen kommt Wasser nur heraus, wenn das Tier daran trinkt. Ein Schwimmer in der Flasche zeigt den Wasserstand an.
