As a matter of principle, this website only uses cookies and comparable storage technologies (localStorage/sessionStorage) insofar as they are necessary for the operation of the platform (§ 25(2) TDDDG; Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We do not use advertising cookies. Exceptions are the statistics and – on websites where we use it – Google Analytics: both only run if you consent to statistical cookies in the consent dialogue (§ 25(1) TDDDG; Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); details can be found in the privacy policy.
Technically necessary storage in detail
- Login/session: access and refresh tokens after login (keep you logged in; stored until logout or token expiry). With the central login (mieid, including Google/Facebook/Apple sign-in), a session cookie of the login service.
- Shopping basket and ordering process: the contents of your shopping basket, so that they are retained while you shop.
- Language setting: your chosen language (localStorage entry ‘PARAGLIDE_LOCALE’), so that the website appears in your language.
- Convenience settings: e.g. ‘Do not show this notice again’ for info boxes and the temporary storage of a favourite until you log in (sessionStorage).
- Your decision on statistics: whether you have given consent (localStorage ‘mie_consent’, twelve months), so that the dialogue does not appear on every visit.
Only with your consent
- Statistics: a random identifier (‘mie_track_sid’, ‘mie_visitor’) and a short queue of page views not yet transmitted (‘mie_track_q’) in localStorage. Without consent, these entries are not created.
- Google Analytics (only on websites where we use it): cookies of Google Ireland Limited (‘_ga’, ‘_ga_…’, up to two years). Without consent, Google Analytics is not loaded; if you withdraw your consent, we delete these cookies in your browser.
These entries are not used for tracking across other websites and not for advertising.
Deleting and managing
You can view, block or delete stored cookies and website data in your browser settings at any time. Deleting technically necessary entries may mean that functions such as login, shopping basket or language selection no longer work as expected.
