Chipsi Mais ist ein Einstreu-Granulat aus Maiskolbenspindeln, also aus reinen Pflanzenfasern. Es eignet sich als Einstreu für Kleintiere wie Kaninchen und Hamster sowie für Ziervögel. Das Granulat ist schwerer als übliche Weichholzspäne oder Holzgranulate. Dadurch bleibt es weniger an Fell und Pfoten hängen und wird kaum aus dem Käfig getragen. Laut Hersteller ist die Streu hygienisch, trocken, staubfrei und sehr saugfähig.
