Die Heuraufe ist ein freistehendes Gitter aus pulverbeschichtetem Metall mit vier Standfüßen. Sie wird ins Gehege gestellt und mit Heu befüllt. Die Tiere zupfen sich das Heu durch die Gitterstäbe. Ein Deckel in Dachform schließt die Raufe nach oben ab. So können die Tiere nicht hineinspringen, und das Verletzungsrisiko sinkt.
