Der doppelte Tau-Ring besteht aus zwei ineinandergehängten Ringen aus gedrehtem Baumwollseil. Er wird im Käfig oder in der Voliere aufgehängt und dient Vögeln als Schaukel, Sitz- und Kletterplatz. Laut Abbildung hängt er an einer Metallkette mit Haken, das untere Ende ist verknotet und läuft in Fransen aus. Der Ring wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Weltvogelpark Walsrode entwickelt und eignet sich zum Beispiel für Wellensittiche und Großsittiche.
