About the company

As a pioneer of German gin, THE DUKE distillery brought THE DUKE Munich Dry Gin to life in 2008 after a full year of development. For years, the organic gin was distilled by hand in the heart of Munich's city centre. Step by step, the range was expanded to include further spirits, such as LION's Vodka and two more gins (Wanderlust Gin and Rough Gin). A ginger liqueur and two kümmel liqueurs, as well as ready-mixed long drinks in bottles, are now also available – all of them, of course, also in organic quality. Since the beginning of 2017, the duke among gins has reigned in his new realm, a former potato distillery in Aschheim just outside Munich. Ginthusiasts and the curious alike are invited to take part in guided tours, enjoy tastings or simply shop in the distillery shop.
