mono. The German manufactory of design originals. Since 1959, Mono has been working with designers to develop products that do not follow fashions but outlast them, made to the highest standards in terms of workmanship, materials and their origin. Mono has won countless awards, and Mono fans all over the world enjoy using its products every day. Wilhelm Seibel I. laid the foundation for the family business in 1895, which is now run by the 5th generation. In 1959, the Mono brand was born with the development of the Mono A cutlery. Much has changed since then, yet much has stayed the same at the Mono manufactory: a stubborn conviction and the belief that craftsmanship, the human eye and high-quality materials really do make a difference.
