## Profil

Lares Blechwarenfabrikation GmbH has been producing high-quality cooking and baking accessories made of tinplate and stainless steel since 1948. It all began after the end of the war in the back room of an inn in Mönchzell. Here, the newly founded company produced its first biscuit cutters and measuring jugs for the household. Orders were taken by bicycle to the railway station in the next village.

In the following years, LARES Blechwarenfabrikation produced not only cutters but also metal sleeves for preserving thermometers, so that, in cooperation with a glass processor, a complete preserving thermometer could be offered. In the 1970s, LARES took over glass production completely. Since then, the entire thermometer has been made in-house. As far as we know, we are now the only manufacturer of this type of preserving thermometer.

In the 1990s, the product range was expanded to include baking aids made of rust-free stainless steel. Today, all tinplate and stainless steel products are still made at the company's site. As in the past, many items are made by our employees using traditional craftsmanship. The later function in the customer's kitchen always comes first. That is why only new products that have first proven themselves in several practical tests are added to the range. For this reason, LARES products are uncomplicated, reliable and easy to use.

Because of our close ties to the region, we make every effort to source the raw materials we use locally wherever possible. The sheet metal for the product range is exclusively of European manufacture.
